ERP is the basis of a company¡¯s IT infrastructure. It collects and accumulates terminal management data from business activities so that the administrator may effectively oversee the business process. 4) Business Intelligence (BI)/Executive Information System (EIS)
- BI (Business Intelligence) collects and analyzes the various extraneous scattered data within the company to create useful information for not only managers but clients, suppliers, and even to partners so that each related member may be able to make more effective decisions in relation to the company.
- BI¡¯s core functionality is to collect and analyze scattered data and create an environment that allows easy corporate access to this data. BSG separates BI¡¯s functionalities into two categories: ¡®Information Delivery and Discovery (IDD)¡¯ and ¡®Enterprise Information Management (EM).¡¯ These categories are then also divided into more detailed components.
- BI provides information to all related parties in the company or not. On the other hand, EIS (Executive Information System) is designed specifically for executives and managers. Because the executive¡¯s and manager¡¯s decisions affects the company¡¯s productivity greatly, the establishment of a EIS system is often the primary goal in setting up a BI.

Information Discovery and Delivery (IDD)
- The BI functionality under the IDD (Information Discovery and Delivery) category allows the decision makers to easily and efficiently obtain management data. It allows all the information within the company to be more effectively accessed, analyzed, and navigated.
- Through the IDD, the decision maker can create a Query for the company management data, analyze data, report, and control it through the Dashboard.

Enterprise Information Management (EIM)
- The BI functionality included in the EIM (Enterprise Information Management) category increases the amount of company management information a user can access and is responsible for increasing the reliability and quality of the information. It also provides scattered information in a clear fashion to easily understand the connections among information.
- The user may access the reliable information obtained this way in real time allowing the user to make quick decisions regarding the changing management environment.

DW (Data Warehouse) / DM (Data Mart) / Mining
- Establish a Data Warehouse and Data Mining system to more efficiently extract management data that have been stored in the existing system to allow timely decision making in relation to changes in the market environment.

KM (Knowledge Management)

MDM (Master Data Management)
- In the process of a company¡®s development, many Master Data are formed and requires systematic management. Although the importance of effective Master Data Management may be easily overlooked, as the company¡¯s level of informatization increases, Master Data Management becomes extremely important in the system¡¯s accuracy. A Master Data Management system must be established, especially when a more analytical information system is to be implemented after the ERP establishment.

9) Balanced Scorecard (BSC)
- BSC was developed to reduce the overemphasis on the management of internal performance and create a balance between the external stakeholders¡¯ performances and internal performances. The external stakeholders¡¯ performances are indexed through a balance among short-term, long-term, financial, and non-financial performance statements. Such performance management system provides a general view on the company¡¯s vision and strategic goals.
